What is Katapult?
Katapult is a lease-to-own payment option available at Premier Max. It’s designed to make shopping for Apple products easier and more affordable. You can take your device home today and pay over time — no traditional credit required.
How does Katapult work with Premier Max?
When you shop at Premier Max, you can apply for Katapult financing directly at checkout. If approved, you’ll make a small initial payment, then pay the remaining balance through flexible recurring payments. Once you’ve completed your lease or exercised an early purchase option, the device is yours.
Is there a credit check?
Katapult does not perform a hard credit check, so applying will not impact your credit score. They may run a soft inquiry to verify your identity and eligibility.
What products can I lease with Katapult?
Almost all Apple products on Premier Max qualify for Katapult. If your item is eligible, you’ll see Katapult as an option during checkout.
How much is the initial payment and when is it due?
The initial payment is typically around $45 (plus taxes and fees), and it’s due at checkout on Premier Max when you complete your lease agreement.
Can I change my payment schedule?
Yes. Katapult offers flexible payment options that you can manage through your Katapult account after completing your Premier Max purchase.
Can I pay off my lease early?
Absolutely. Katapult has an early purchase option that lets you buy out your lease anytime and save on the total cost. Many Premier Max customers choose this option for extra savings.
Does Katapult report to credit bureaus?
No. Katapult does not report to credit bureaus, so applying and leasing will not affect your credit score.
What happens if I miss a payment?
If you miss a payment, contact Katapult immediately. They’ll work with you to adjust your schedule. Premier Max does not manage your payment schedule, so Katapult handles all billing directly.
What happens if I need to return my item?
If you return your item to Premier Max in its original condition and cancel your lease, Katapult will stop future payments. However, any amounts already paid (including the initial payment) are non-refundable.
