Apple Releases Third Public Betas of iOS 18.6, iPadOS 18.6, macOS Sequoia 15.6, and watchOS 11.6

Apple has officially rolled out the third public betas of its upcoming software updates:

  • iOS 18.6

  • iPadOS 18.6

  • macOS Sequoia 15.6

  • watchOS 11.6

This comes just a day after the developer versions were seeded, and these builds are now available to all registered members of the Apple Beta Software Program.

What's New?

These updates are primarily focused on bug fixes and performance improvements — not major new features. If you're looking for flashier changes, check out the iOS 26 beta, which includes more experimental updates and visual changes.

Want to Try the Beta?

  1. Sign up for free at beta.apple.com

  2. Install the profile on your device

  3. Go to:
Settings > General > Software Update
Select the iOS 18 Public Beta from the “Beta Updates” section.

Device Compatibility

Make sure to back up your device before installing the beta to avoid any data loss.

Developers:

You can also download these builds from the Apple Developer Program

This is a great time to test-drive Apple’s upcoming improvements—just keep in mind that beta software can be unstable. For the smoothest ride, wait for the official release later this year.
