Apple is back with another eye-candy update in the latest developer beta of iOS 26 — and if you’re someone who loves customizing your iPhone’s look, you’ll want to check this out.
In iOS 26 Beta 3, Apple has expanded its Liquid Glass wallpaper collection with three brand-new color options: Shadow, Halo, and Dusk. These join the original “Sky” theme introduced in the first beta, bringing the total to four color families — each available in four different variants (Light and Dark versions for both the Home and Lock screens). That’s 16 official wallpapers in total.
Shadow
The Shadow theme brings a moody, sophisticated feel, blending deep indigo and muted aqua-green tones. Perfect for those who like their setup darker and more atmospheric, especially in Dark Mode.
Halo
Halo goes in the opposite direction, offering a bright, fresh combination of light violet-blue and mint green. It feels modern, clean, and uplifting — great for summer vibes or anyone who loves lighter aesthetics.
Dusk
The aptly named Dusk theme features soft pinks and purples that mimic a colorful sunset. It adds warmth and a subtle glow to your device — particularly stunning when paired with Light Mode.
Wallpaper Flexibility
Like the original Sky wallpaper, each of the new themes has four tailored variations:
-
Home Screen (Light)
-
Home Screen (Dark)
-
Lock Screen (Light)
-
Lock Screen (Dark, with enhanced legibility)
This ensures your wallpapers not only look beautiful but are also practical, keeping key info like the clock and notifications readable in all conditions.
